Thought I'd put some note here to remind myself of what I want to discuss at Monday's meeting (in addition, of course, to whatever you hope to discuss).
We need to-
Check supplies for our float. We need boxes, and we need to set a schedule for painting those boxes. If we have none, we need to get some. Also, someone mentioned that there are pre-made Statue of Liberty pieces we could buy. If that's what we're going to do, we need to get some prices and do it.
Start our character list. This could be the most difficult part of organizing our float. We need to determine which characters must be a part of our float and who will play each of those characters.
FUND RAISING! Every morning we don't sell something we lose money. If we're going to have a car wash we need to do it soon. Let's get it together!

Our Charter;
This Charter is meant to detail the constitution and primary activities of the Westbury High School Class of 2009. The organization exists to coordinate homecoming events, prom related events, other events deemed of interest to the class, and to raise funds necessary for the goods and services related to those events.
Every member of the Westbury High School Class of 2009 is welcome to participate in all events, and every member of the class will have equal say in all decision making. In order to organize class activities the class will elect four officers. The President and Vice-President will preside over class meetings, set agendas for those meetings, and call votes for all decisions to be made by the class. The Secretary will record the results of all votes, the minutes of class meetings, and the attendance at meetings. The Treasurer will track funds accumulated by the class by signing off on all deposits and withdrawals from class funds.
The regular meeting time for the Westbury High School Class of 2009 will be after school on Mondays. Meetings will take place in Room 112 at Westbury High School unless otherwise noted. Other meetings will take place as needed.
